Can Everybody Do Pilates?

I know how hard we can sometimes be on ourselves and our fears of failure or feelings of shame can sometimes stop us from pursuing certain goals that we know would help us step into the best version of ourselves. My pilates method and classes are open to everybody and for everybody. There is no such thing as being “too” beginner or not “good enough.”


One of the things I love the most about pilates is that it meets you exactly where you are and requires nothing other than your body and your dedication to this practice. For all of my new clients I always start by introducing you to the fundamentals of pilates which covers proper form, breath and technique and will set you up with everything you need to begin your pilates journey. Pilates is an incredibly transformative practice that can bring a few moments of connection to self, while strengthening your mind and body. My aim through my pilates method is to guide you through a movement experience that you will fall in love with and feel good about because the transformation you desire is completely possible without any of the stress that other methods often cause on your body.


I hope that this blog post has given you the permission you were seeking to try pilates if you have been curious about it and to just know that pilates is absolutely for you no matter where you are starting from.
